This is theDJLink.com, a hub for DJs & artists to come together under some of the finest underground DJs in the Midwest. Every Sunday 8-10pm cst theDJLink.com is LIVE with host DJ BLAC. The Background

The DJ Link was founded by DJ Blac in 2007 for the UNL college radio station: 90.3 KRNU FM. Originally broadcasting everyday sunday from 10-midnight, the radio show featured Lincoln Nebraska’s best DJs uninterrupted and mixing live for two hours. The show was on air for nearly 2 years before Blac graduated and the show ended.

The DJ Link lived on through a temporary home at www.hybrid-culture.com. In late 2009 www.theDJLink.com was launched. Utilizing ustream.tv, the DJ Link integrated video into the program.

The Host : DJ Blac

Blac plays a range of glitchy bass music from crunk, dubstep, electro and breaks. When there isn’t a special guest, Blac plays an interactive mix that involves the chat room and vibe of the night. It can go anywhere.

The Crew : VJ Coco

TheDJLink.com is not a one man job: there is a feminine side. Each broadcast Coco is behind the camera, directing shots and adding effects. You’ll find her in the chat room every Sunday as well sharing with the audience when Blac is performing. Coco is also the voice of theDJLink through our social network mediums.

Special Guests

Special guests come from the diverse local music scene of Lincoln Nebraska. Though not the biggest scene, some of the best underground unknown talent call Lincoln their home, and theDJLink.com is their voice. Through our success we’ve reached out to other cities and beyond Nebraska. We welcome anyone with a desire to learn more to join our social network and get involved.
